Weaving of Light: A Living Link in the Fabric of Consciousness

Honoring the dead, blessing the living, and tending the fabric of consciousness we all share.

In Studio & by Zoom

Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM with Angad Kaur & Teg Karamjot Singh

The beginning of November is traditionally a season for honoring the dead. Across cultures, it is a month of remembrance: All Hallows’ Eve, All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day with prayers and candles lit in churches and cemeteries, Día de los Muertos altars in Mexico adorned with marigolds, food, and photographs, Guatemala’s great Barriletes Gigantes kites flown to carry messages skyward, and Samhain feasts with places set at the table for departed ancestors. In so many ways, humanity has always paused at this time of year to honor those who came before, to sit in gratitude, to be in prayer, and to remember the continuity between the living and the dead.

From a tantric perspective, life, death, and continuity are not separate threads but part of a single weaving of consciousness. To remember is to carry forward the gifts of ancestry and experience with gratitude, while laying down the pain and burdens we have inherited and lived through. In this way, honoring the dead becomes inseparable from tending the living weave of continuity. Remembrance itself becomes an act of healing.

In the yogic lens, November carries the energy of 11, the number of Infinity, a vibration of positivity and the reminder that we are not ruled by Maya but rooted in the One. The year 2025 carries the energy of 9, the Subtle Body, which carries consciousness beyond death. Nine invites release, the closure and clearing of the past, so that continuity can flow freely. The day itself, the 2nd, carries the energy of 2, the Protective Mind, the number of relationship and compassion, guiding us to discern what to release and what to carry forward with love. Together these numbers call us to reflect on the threads and flow from which we are all woven.

In this gathering, we will build a shared altar with flowers, candles, photos and offerings, honoring our dead and those who walked before us, clearing our path, and for the benefit of those yet to come. There will be Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and double gong. In this practice, reflection, and prayer, we remember that we are never separate, the living, the dead, and those yet to come are bound in one chain of being. Through practice, reflection, and prayer we take our place in that continuity, a living link in the fabric of consciousness.

We encourage you to bring photographs, flowers, food, mementos, or whatever moves you to place upon our shared altar, whether it is a photo, a flower, or a simple gesture of love. Afterward, we invite you to stay for tea, treats, and visiting, continuing the spirit of remembrance and community.

Sliding scale: $45, $54, $63, $72, $81, $99
