The Aquarian Teacher Program is the KRI™ Level One Certification in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® an immersive experience in the science of awareness.
Over the course of 220 hours, including 180 hours of classroom study and 40 hours of guided assignments, you will awaken new dimensions of strength, insight, and presence. Each weekend builds on the last, expanding your capacity to live, serve, and teach from the deepest source within you.
The Aquarian Teacher Program is the KRI Level One Certification program in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®. In Level One you will become an Instructor and learn the fundamental principles and practices of Kundalini Yoga.
This is a 220 hour course, which includes 180 hours of classroom instruction in a well defined curriculum.
Kundalini Yoga Basics: Theory and practice of Kundalini Yoga kriyas (yoga sets), asanas, mudras, meditations, mantras, and pranayam (breathing techniques).
History and Philosophy of Yoga: How this ancient practice and its underlying philosophy has evolved
Mind and Meditation: Learn how the mind operates and experience the powerful tool that is meditation.
Becoming a Teacher: Practical strategies for teaching beginners, ethical guidelines, curriculum development, and how to a successful yoga practice.
Humanology — Becoming a yogi: How Kundalini Yoga technologies apply to healing, daily living, including nutrition, habits and relationships.
Yogic and Functional Anatomy: Explore traditional Western anatomy as well as Yogic anatomy and its energy systems.
Sound and Mantra: How sound and mantra affect the physique and your state of being.
Angad Kaur Khalsa - Lead Trainer, a radiant teacher of Kundalini Yoga and the Healing Art of Sat Nam Rasayan. Her devotion, humor, and depth of understanding make her guidance both practical and profoundly elevating
Simran Kaur Khalsa, A lifelong Yogi, born and raised in the Kundalini Yoga tradition, Simran embodies vitality, calm, and playfulness. Her mastery of posture, alignment, and breath helps students embody presence from the inside out.
Sat Jivan Singh Khalsa, A teacher of dignity, precision, and joy, blending 54 years of yogic teaching with 50 years in law. His classes ignite inspiration and integrate spiritual discipline with real-world wisdom.

All sessions take place in person at Infinite Space NYC, a creative sanctuary in the heart of Manhattan.
You may attend up to 80 percent of the course online; at least 20 percent must be attended in person.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
To successfully complete the course, students are expected to:
✓ Attend all 180 hours of classroom instruction plus 40 hours of assigned homework
✓ Receive a passing grade of 75 percent or better on the KRI™ examination
✓ Complete 20 Kundalini Yoga classes outside of training hours
✓ Attend one full day of White Tantric Yoga or an approved meditation intensive
✓ Complete assigned 40-day yoga sets and meditations
✓ Participate in 5 full morning sadhanas
✓ Create 2 original yoga course curricula
✓ Satisfactorily perform in the practicum
✓ Embody the Code of Professional Standards for Kundalini Yoga Teachers
✓ Pay full course fees
Instructor Certification requires:
✓ Passing both the oral and written exams
✓ Acceptable representation of the Kundalini Yoga Code of Professional Standards
TUITION & ENROLLMENT OPTIONS
Earliest Price – $3,800 paid in full prior to December 15, 2025
Early Price – $4,000 paid in full prior to January 15, 2026
Full Payment – $4,200 due in full prior to March 14, 2026
Installment Plan – $4,400 total
Pay $1,100 by 3/14/2026, then three payments of $1,100 each due on 4/14/2026, 5/14/2026, and 6/14/2026
Textbooks are included in tuition.
Your tuition also includes an unlimited class pass at Infinite Space NYC for the duration of the training.
(White Tantric Yoga or an equivalent meditation course is not included in tuition.)
REFUND & WITHDRAWAL POLICY
A $300 non-refundable registration fee is included in the total tuition.
This fee reserves your space in the program and covers administrative and material costs.
Refund Schedule:
Before February 15, 2026: Full refund of tuition minus the $300 registration fee
February 15 – March 13, 2026: 75 percent refund of tuition (less the $300 registration fee)
After March 14, 2026: No refunds once the course has begun
If you withdraw after the start date, tuition payments remain due and payable in full according to your plan.
BEFORE YOU REGISTER
We request all prospective students to learn about the complex history surrounding Yogi Bhajan and the 3HO/KRI/Sikh Dharma International communities. This includes publicly documented reports and investigations into abuse and misconduct that have caused harm to individuals within those communities.
