Number 11 – I Am the Light of the Soul

November is a month of number 11, the number of alignment with the One. It reminds us that the light we search for is already within. 11 is like a mirror, reflecting our true self, the part that belongs to the Infinite. When we forget, life can feel divided, pulled between doubt and faith, noise and silence, self and spirit. When we remember, 11 becomes a bridge between the human and the divine, restoring the harmony and balance that are our natural state.

When that balance slips away, we experience confusion and inner conflict. The practice is to return to the still point within, where clarity, truth, and grace naturally arise.

As the year draws to a close, the circle completes. This is a time to pause, reflect, and take in the essence of all you have experienced. Listen to your own being. Feel the rhythm of your breath and heartbeat. You are never alone; your awareness and the Awareness are one and the same.

The number 11 is 1 plus 10. The number 1 is the spark of individuality. The number 10 is the wholeness that holds everything together. When you see both clearly, you remember that you are both the part and the whole, the spark and the totality. The Infinite is reflected within you in every moment of awareness and every act of love.

In the Sikh tradition, this understanding is called Gur Prasaad, the grace of realizing that the light in you has always been God’s light. You do not have to reach for it; you only need to notice it.

To embody the energy of 11 is to live from unity. Know that God and me, me and God, are one. Let this month bring you back to simplicity, to meditation, prayer, and connection with those who lift your spirit. Let yourself belong to community, to the season, to the One inside you. November invites you to live in alignment, humility, and light. When you return to the quiet within, the light is still there, waiting. It has always been home.
