The word mantra comes from the experience of sound waves moving the mind. Man is the mind; tra comes from tarang, the wave of sound. When we chant mantras, we generate sound currents that lift us out of the limited individual mind into the Infinite universal mind. In this expanded awareness, we see beyond our circumstances into the greater story.
Har Har Har Har Gobinday is a sacred mantra that brings prosperity, happiness, and protection from calamity. Composed of eight aspects of the divine, each empowered by Har, the primal creative force, it acts as a shield of sound that removes blocks, discomfort, and disease. This mantra feeds the soul, and gives the felt sense of deathlessness. Its forty-part structure activates the navel, clears the aura, and sets the mind toward power and elevation.
