Cooling Mango Lassi

Light, refreshing, and naturally sweet, Mango Lassi is a traditional Ayurvedic drink that helps cool the body during the warm summer months. It is rich in vitamins, hydrating, and soothing to the digestive system, making it a wonderful companion after yoga, meditation, or time spent in the sun.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted, and cubed (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • ¾ cup cold water (or milk for a creamier texture)

  • 2–3 tablespoons maple syrup or raw honey

  • 6 ice cubes

  • Pinch of ground cardamom (optional)

Vegan Option
Substitute the yogurt with plain coconut, almond, or cashew yogurt. You may also replace the water with coconut milk or your favorite plant-based milk for a richer, creamier lassi. Use maple syrup instead of honey to keep it fully vegan.

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until completely smooth and creamy.

  3. Taste and adjust the sweetness or consistency by adding a little more maple syrup or water if needed.

  4. Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.
